Revolution Calling is reloaded and taking their performances from a regional to national levels.
Revolution Calling, is dedicated to delivering a precise Queensrÿche experience based on the glory years (Geoff Tate and Chris DeGarmo years) of their musical progression. Great attention is paid to
providing re-enactment of many key aspects of the storylines behind “Operation Mindcrime”, “Empire” and “Rage” which were all performed with the masterful voice of Geoff Tate and the powerful dual
guitars of Chris DeGarmo and Michael Wilton.
Revolution Calling was humbly voted the #1 Tribute to Queensrÿche by the Rycher Fanclub in 2017 –
2019 and has received nods (not full endorsements) from both Geoff Tate and Michael Wilton. It is
amazing to see Queensrÿche fans come appear from everywhere to relive the Glory Days of
Queensrÿche’s powerful influence.
About the Members
John “Jay” Holliday (Geoff Tate)
Lead Singer
John has been pleasing audiences with his voice for more than 20 years. An avid Queensrÿche fanatic, John has stylized his vocal, personality traits and stage presence to emulate Geoff Tate. He does it so well, he was handed the mic by Geoff Tate himself during a live performance by Queensrÿche.
Ryan Repking (Chris DeGarmo)
Lead/Rhythm Guitar
Hailing originally from St. Louis, MO, you just need to watch Ryan for 90 minutes. With his smooth sweeps and tone control, he pulls every ounce of precision out of his guitars. He does DeGarmo justice!
Olly Oliver (Scott Rockenfield)
Drummer
Olly delivers the same ROCK steady performance to each and every show with a flair very similar to Scott. Tight fills and not afraid to muscle every hit of the stick yet he puts small bits of his own into each song. It is what you expect if listening to Scott himself.
Arnie Anderson (Michael Wilton)
Lead/Rhythm Guitar
The newest member to Revolution Calling, Arnie has proven himself to have the attack and speed with the alternate picking that is near identical to Wilton himself. He brutalizes his ESPs. Combined with Repking, these two bring the unified guitars that make Queensrÿche electrifying!
David Gray (Eddie Jackson)
Bass
David’s modesty as an impeccable bass player for progressive rock leads him to emulate Ed “On Take” Jackson’s nuances and complexities. Combined with Olly, they provide the premier anchors for Revolution Calling.
